Activity Level Withholding

Withholding can be defined at the activity level in configuration. This configuration makes a Withholding window available on the activity. An activity's withholding details can be set to process according to policy-level withholding or activity-level withholding. If activity level withholding is supported, then a Withholding tab will appear in the Add Activity window when the activity is added.

Steps to Set Withholding for an Activity

1. Open a policy.

2. Click Activity on the Entity Navigation list.
3. Click Add Activity from the Action list below the Entity Navigation list.
4. Select the activity from the Activity drop down list.
5. Enter the activity details.
6. Click the Withholding tab at the top of the window.  

7. Select the withholding type from the drop down box.

8. Enter withholding values.
9. Click OK. When the activity is processed it will use the withholding level indicated. 

Update Activity Withholding Information

The withholding level on an activity can be changed if it is still in pending status.

To update the withholding level, on the Activities screen:

1. Click <Activity Name>. The <Activity Name> window appears. By default, the Details tab appears.
2. Click the Withholding tab and select the withholding level from the Withholding Type drop-down box. You can update any other withholding details.
3. Click OK to save the changes.
